How to make a peanut sauce and Madura Satay
Madura is the name of the island adjacent to the island of Java. One of the famous food in this island is Madura Satay . A seller of Madura satay usualy using traditional dress and peddle using a cart shaped like a boat.
If you want to make it at home in the weekend with your family then this is the recipes.


Should be prepared for the Satay:
  • 1/2 kg of chicken meat, beef, or lamb then take the meat only. Cut cube shape into bite-sized for 20 skewers.
  • White rice / rice cake
  • 1 lemon, cut into 2 pcs


Peanut seasoning Sate Madura :
  • 3 red onions
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 150 grams of peanuts, fried
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (a mixture of mashed beans)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce / necessary (supplementary when the presentation)
  • 2 eggs hazelnut
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 150 ml bouillon
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil / cooking
  • Salt to taste


Onion sauce Sate Madura: 
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 10 small red chilies
  • Salt to taste


How to Make Sate Madura:

  • Peanut sauce: Mix the garlic, onion, peanuts, salt, nutmeg and puree. Heat oil and saute until fragrant, put bouillon, and cook until thickened and Lift.
  • Mix 2 tablespoons peanut sauce with 2 tablespoons soy sauce, dip the satay, grilled until half done then Lift and roll again in spices, roasted until cooked and lift.
  • Onion sauce: heat the oil and saute garlic until half cooked and lift. Mix the garlic, red pepper, salt and puree.
  • Serve the satay with peanut sauce Madura, soy sauce, onion, garlic sauce, lime, and rice cake (lontong).
