Gluten free rice crackers (Kerupuk Beras-Nasi) recipe

Fried rice crackers
Gluten free rice crackers (Kerupuk Beras-Nasi) recipe :  Rice crackers also called crackers puli. As the name suggests its main ingredient is rice (already cooked). Moms in Indonesia are generally utilizing leftover rice to make this type of crackers.

Thickeners Ingredients :
  • 3 tablespoons tapioca flour
  • 100 ml freshly boiled hot water

Pour boiling water into tapioca flour and stir until thickened and sticky like a glue.


Dough/mixture ingredients Crackers:
  • 500 gr warm rice 1 tsp salt (to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp sugar


Ground spices:
  • 1 tsp coriander roasted
  • 3 cloves garlic

How to make:
  1. Put the mixture thickeners into the rice warm, add the spices, salt and sugar. Mix well and knead the dough while squeezing so that the rice a bit broken and shattered.
